Set Up Controller Polling and SNMP

Follow this procedure to set up sofia under either of these two conditions:

  • Your network uses CCX but not CMX.
  • Your network uses CCX and CMX 10.6.3 (or above) and you do not have the CMX Advanced License.

Note

To determine your CMX version and whether the Advanced License is installed:

  1. Point your browser to the IP or DNS name of the CMX console and log in to display the home screen.
  2. Select Manage > Notifications to view the installed notifications.

Steps

  1. Locate and run the app configutil.exe in the sofia server.

    Note

The default location is C:\Program Files\AiRISTA Flow\Sofia AiRISTA Flow RTLS Controller\bin but the path for your server will vary depending on your sofia installation.
